Job Title: Investment & Client Advisory Manager
Location: Lagos
Salary: ₦600,000 – ₦800,000 Monthly
Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to drive the company’s financial performance by providing expert investment advice, managing client relationships, and promoting client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction through tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve the assigned individual AUM (Assets Under Management) target within the defined period.
- Provide expert advice to clients on financial products and investment services.
- Monitor and review clients' portfolios to assess financial goals, economic changes, and market performance.
- Manage clients’ investment portfolios and assets efficiently.
- Conduct market research and customer surveys to evaluate demand and brand positioning.
- Develop strategies in investment planning and cash management tailored to clients’ financial goals.
- Implement financial strategies and support clients in executing investment decisions.
- Maintain periodic contact with clients to assess changes in financial status or objectives.
- Research and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with clients’ financial plans.
- Analyze clients’ financial information to understand their goals, risk tolerance, and asset allocation.
- Advise high-net-worth clients on optimal asset allocation structures.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and internal investment policies.
- Monitor capital market trends and provide timely insights to support decision-making.
- Leverage technology to enhance investment management and operational efficiency.
- Represent the organization positively in all client and public engagements.
- Apply strong negotiation skills to secure competitive funding costs and manage portfolio performance.
- Organize financial training sessions for corporate and group clients to enhance brand visibility.
- Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
Qualifications & Key Skills
- B.Sc. in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
- MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIS, ACCA) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in investment advisory or wealth management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
- Effective time management and organizational capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Strong networking and client relationship management skills
