- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system.
- This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in HSE management, particularly in the industrial catering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the HSE management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing controls to mitigate risks.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, ensuring they are equipped to work safely and efficiently.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science).
- Proven experience in an HSE role, preferably in the industrial catering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH).
- Experience with HSE management systems and software.
- Familiarity with industrial catering operations and food safety regulations.
