Job Position: Head, Supply Chain Management
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Profile Summary
- The Head, Supply Chain leads end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and vendor management to ensure optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and supply continuity.
- The role aligns supply chain strategies with the company’s business objectives and operational realities, while driving continuous improvement and digitization across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
- Oversee procurement planning, sourcing, and contract negotiation with vendors.
- Lead logistics operations ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Implement supply chain risk mitigation and business continuity plans.
- Drive digital transformation and supply chain process automation.
- Collaborate with departments to forecast demand and align supply priorities.
- Manage inventory control, stock levels, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in importation, exportation, and local sourcing.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage strategic vendor relationships.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards for performance monitoring and decision support.
Key Requirements
Educational:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS, PMP) preferred
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Business is an advantage
Functional Critical/Must Have:
- 10+ years in supply chain or procurement leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience in global sourcing, logistics, and inventory planning
- Strong understanding of Nigerian and international procurement regulations
Desirable:
- Experience managing maritime or offshore logistics
- Exposure to digital supply chain tools and automation platforms
