The Company
Our client is a leading oilfield services company, delivering innovative and high-performance solutions across the energy value chain. As part of its strategic growth and operational excellence agenda, the organisation is seeking a seasoned professional for the Group Head, Technical Service Operations role.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce engineering, QA/QC, and maintenance standards across all operating systems.
- Provide expert technical support and resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the performance and maintenance of critical assets and specialised plants. Build and lead a high-performing technical services team and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or Master’s in Engineering/Management is an advantage.
- Professional membership in Engineering (COREN or NSE) is required.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CMMS certification).
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in engineering and technical leadership roles, with at least 5 years in senior management.
- Strong expertise in QA/QC systems, maintenance strategies, and asset management. Proven track record of leading innovation and driving technical excellence across multiple sites.
