Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst with expertise in Remote Sensing, Google Earth Engine (GEE), and Deep Learning for geospatial applications. The ideal candidate will combine technical skills in satellite and drone image processing with AI/ML techniques to deliver advanced geospatial insights for various industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire, preprocess, and analyze satellite imagery (Sentinel, Landsat, MODIS, PlanetScope, etc.) and drone imagery.
• Develop and implement Google Earth Engine (JavaScript & Python API) workflows for large-scale geospatial data processing and automation.
• Apply deep learning and machine learning algorithms for land cover classification, object detection, and change detection (using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras).
• Perform time-series analysis, environmental monitoring, and predictive modeling.
• Integrate AI/ML models with GIS platforms for advanced analytics.
• Create interactive web maps, dashboards, and visualizations for clients.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate geospatial AI models into operational tools.
• Prepare technical reports, visual outputs, and presentations for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS and remote sensing analysis.
• Proven expertise in Google Earth Engine for geospatial processing and automation.
• Experience with deep learning techniques for geospatial analysis (e.g., semantic segmentation, object detection, classification).
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro / QGIS and Python/JavaScript programming.
• Experience with image classification, spectral indices (NDVI, NDBI, LST, etc.), and multi-temporal analysis.
Familiarity with cloud-based geospatial processing environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with drone image processing (Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, DJI Terra, etc.).
• Knowledge of GeoAI, computer vision, and integration of AI models into GIS workflows.
• Familiarity with open-source geospatial AI libraries (Rasterio, GDAL, EarthPy, Segment Anything, etc.).
Ability to present complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
