Job Description/Requirements
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our newly forming core team on a full-time, fully remote basis. This is a unique opportunity to work on a greenfield project involving complex data integrations, geospatial processing, and dynamic modeling. You’ll play a critical role in building systems from the ground up and shaping both the backend and frontend architecture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Architect and build scalable backend services using Python (Django).
- Develop intuitive, responsive frontends using JavaScript (React or similar).
- Design and manage complex database schemas and data integrations.
- Implement and maintain mapping interfaces and data-driven decision tools.
- Build and integrate systems for model generation and resource estimation.
- Own the full development lifecycle including CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to define and deliver new features.
Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Strong expertise in Python with Django or similar frameworks.
- Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, and frontend state management.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with geospatial tools and APIs (e.g., PostGIS, Mapbox, Leaflet) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL API design.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure).
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration.
