Team Lead, Financial Advisory

Remuneration: 11 Million Naira (Annual Gross)

Location: Lagos

Job Summary:

We are seeking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Financial Advisory to lead our advisory team.

The successful candidate will provide strategic financial advice to clients, oversee complex financial

transactions, and manage a team of financial analysts/investment bankers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the advisory business in line with Nigerian market

trends.

2. Build and maintain strong local and international client relationships, providing tailored advisory

solutions.

3. Lead and motivate the advisory team, fostering a high-performance, client-focused culture.

4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion.

5. Conduct and oversee financial modeling, valuation, and analysis for advisory transactions.

6. Advise clients on investments, capital raising, M&A, and other strategic financial decisions.

7. Ensure regulatory compliance and implement effective risk controls across all advisory activities.

8. Collaborate with several teams—including legal, compliance, and operations—for seamless execution

of mandates.

9. Prepare and present reports to senior management with key performance insights and market

updates.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/MSc or relevant

certifications are preferred).

• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, or ACCA are considered an added advantage.

• Proven track record of successful business development and client acquisition.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in financial advisory or investment banking.

• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and analysis.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

• Knowledge or experience in Islamic finance is an added advantage.
