We are looking to recruit a financial controller who will provide strategic financial leadership, control, and oversight for the company’s financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational profitability, regulatory compliance, and prudent financial risk management.
The Financial Controller will oversee all core financial operations of the business, including accounts, tax, budgeting, costing, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes in collaboration with department heads.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and performance metrics tracking to enhance profitability and operational control.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax, audit, and financial reporting.
- Establish robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and support business integrity.
- Provide strategic insights to senior management through timely and relevant financial analysis and reports.

Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Maritime sector.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
MBA is an added advantage.
ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting certification.
