Job Summary
Provide leadership in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Manage accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and deliver insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide actionable insights to management. Manage relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Minimum of 8 years cogent experience in financial management and accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE, QUICKBOOKS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy in financial record keeping and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple task and deadlines.
- Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA) is required. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
