Your Role in Our Success
You'll build and lead the field sales force that drives revenue growth across our brand partner portfolio.
This role combines team leadership with hands-on sales execution as you create a high-performing sales culture that consistently exceeds targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage a field sales team of up to 15 people across four zones
- Performance Management: Track individual and team performance using our productivity point system and take decisive action with underperformers
- Coaching Excellence: Conduct daily check-ins, field training, and mentoring sessions to develop sales talent
- Target Achievement: Ensure team consistently meets and exceeds sales targets while maintaining healthy debt positions
- Process Implementation: Build and refine sales processes, route planning, and performance tracking systems
- Strategic Execution: Work with Commercial Lead to implement go-to-market strategies and expansion plans
- Culture Building: Foster a results-driven culture that values integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Requirements
- 3+ years managing field sales teams with demonstrated results
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution sectors in Nigeria
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop sales talent
- Strong analytical skills for performance tracking and optimization
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales leadership experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with zone-based sales management
- Background in B2B sales with multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with modern sales tools and CRM systems
- Previous experience in high-growth startup environments
What We Offer
- Base Salary: #400,000 - A600,000
- Transport Allowance: Up to #120,000 monthly
