The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of the company’s physical infrastructure and assets. This includes ensuring buildings, equipment, utilities, and workspaces are safe, functional, and meet the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all facility-related services including repairs, maintenance, cleaning, security, and utilities.
- Supervise contractors, technicians, cleaners, and security personnel to ensure quality service delivery.
- Manage facility budgets and ensure cost-effective maintenance strategies.
- Monitor the condition of buildings, equipment, and systems (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and arrange timely repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for the facility.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies, breakdowns, or safety issues.
- Oversee inventory management of facility supplies and materials.
- Coordinate office moves, furniture setup, and space planning.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, vendors, and service contracts.
