Stipend: ₦50,000/month

About the Opportunity:
We’re seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer to join our drone development team. This role offers early-career engineers the chance to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and drone assembly as part of an innovative Nigerian tech startup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of drone mechanical systems including frames, motors, and rotors.
- Assist with prototyping, structural analysis, and part fabrication.
- Collaborate with the electrical engineer for integration of mechanical and electrical subsystems.
- Participate in assembly and physical testing during monthly factory sessions. Continuously explore and apply lightweight material design principles.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Interest in drones, robotics, or aerospace projects.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Monthly physical presence at the mini-factory.
