Reiken Solutions is a specialist engineering company looking to hire a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineering license such as COREN, NSE, NIMECH etc.
• 5+ years work experience.
• Excellent understanding of Engineering fundamentals.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical, electrical and plumbing designs for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Prepare plans, details, specifications and cost estimate of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
• Analyze Mechanical, electrical and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
• Prepare and review costing (quotations, tenders and B.O.Qs) for mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects – as the need arises.
• Carry out value engineering exercise on proposed designs and costs.
• Computer 2D and 3D modelling of HVAC or plumbing systems utilizing the latest modelling software.
• Review Contractor workshop shop drawings against the design tender drawings for compliance with the design intent.
• Review contractor workshop mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering coordination.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and project team members.
Other duties as assigned.
