Related Motions is a fast-growing media production startup producing bold, youth-oriented content across movie productions, YouTube shows, short films, and commercials. We're looking for a creative, data-driven, and execution-focused Digital Marketing Manager to help us grow our digital presence, build loyal communities, and drive viewership and monetization across platforms.
Role Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the planning and execution of content-driven campaigns across all digital channels. They will oversee content strategy, audience engagement, and social media growth, paid ads, analytics, and influencer collaborations. This is a hands-on leadership role critical to brand visibility and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning
Develop and own a 12-month digital marketing roadmap aligned with company content releases.
Define and implement platform-specific strategies for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, and newsletters.
Lead cross-functional planning for campaigns around shows, films, and branded content.
2. Content & Campaign Management
Create, manage, and monitor weekly and monthly content calendars.
Supervise the production and delivery of content assets (visual, video, written).
Coordinate pre-launch, launch, and post-launch content strategies.
3. Audience Growth & Community Building
Drive engagement through compelling storytelling and interactive campaigns.
Grow subscribers/followers across all owned platforms.
Build and manage communities (Discord, mailing lists, forums, etc.).
4. Paid Media & SEO
Plan and execute paid campaigns (YouTube Ads, Instagram, Meta Ads, TikTok Boosting).
Work with designers/editors to optimize creative for performance.
Conduct SEO research and ensure metadata, tags, and thumbnails drive discovery.
5. Influencer & PR Engagement
Identify and manage relationships with influencers, micro-creators, and content partners.
Orchestrate influencer campaigns, content reviews, and online engagement events.
Draft press kits and digital media releases for major campaigns.
6. Analytics & Reporting
Track and report on KPIs: views, watch time, engagement rate, CTR, conversions, etc.
Run monthly insights reports with actionable next steps.
Use analytics to iterate campaigns and improve ROI.
7. Team Collaboration
Collaborate with video editors, writers, and social media managers to execute campaigns.
Lead digital team meetings, assign tasks, and track deliverables.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing (preferably in media, entertainment, or content marketing).
Proven record of running successful digital campaigns, especially on YouTube and Instagram.
Strong storytelling instincts and understanding of audience behavior in Nigeria and across Africa.
Knowledge of tools like Canva, Meta Suite, YouTube Studio, Google Ads, Trello, Notion, Buffer.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make quick decisions.
Must be highly organized, creative, resourceful, and passionate about content.
