We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Scientist with a strong foundation in data analysis to join our growing team. This role bridges the gap between data science and traditional analytics, applying advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques while also conducting exploratory and descriptive analysis to derive actionable insights for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Exploration:
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand key trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends from complex datasets.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical questions
Model Development & Deployment:
- Build predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and statistical methods.
- Deploy models in production and monitor performance over time.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate and scale data pipelines and model delivery.
Visualization & Reporting:
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python-based libraries.
- Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Data Management:
- Clean, preprocess, and validate large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Work with data engineering teams to improve data quality, accessibility, and governance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and other business units to inform strategic decisions.
- Act as a data advocate and promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a data science or advanced analytics role.
- Proficiency in Excel, Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong SQL skills for querying large relational databases.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
