We’re Hiring: Corporate Lawyer at 1159 Realty

1159 Realty is a dynamic real estate company committed to delivering innovative and reliable property solutions. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a competent and experienced Corporate Lawyer to manage our legal affairs, ensure compliance, and support our real estate transactions with strategic legal insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Provide expert legal advice on property law, company law, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure company adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements in Nigeria.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
• Conduct due diligence on property acquisitions, sales, and development projects.
• Advise on joint ventures, partnerships, and investment agreements.
• Liaise with external legal firms and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Manage risk by identifying potential legal issues and providing proactive solutions.
Support senior management with strategic legal planning.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and a valid license to practice in Nigeria (BL).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-call experience , preferably in real estate, corporate law, or commercial law.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian property law and corporate legal frameworks.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams.
Resides in or is willing to relocate to Ilorin, Kwara.
