About the Role
As Community & Marketing Associate, you’ll support day-to-day execution of marketing and
community strategies—creating content, posting across platforms, and managing our growing
online audience. You’ll work closely with the Community & Marketing Manager to bring
campaigns and activations to life
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
● Create original and visually compelling content (graphics, carousels, reels, and video
snippets) using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
● Write engaging captions and copy for social media, newsletters, and campaigns
● Curate founder, innovator and partner stories to feature across platforms
● Coordinate with program teams for relevant content and event highlights
Planning & Posting
● Maintain and update the social media content calendar
● Schedule and publish posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X
● Support email campaigns and monthly newsletters
● Track key metrics and suggest optimizations for improved reach and engagement
Online Community Management
● Manage a growing community of innovators and product enthusiasts
● Respond to DMs, comments, and audience messages across all platforms
● Explore various ways of keeping online community engaged
● Activate community calls-to-action around tickets, donations, and event participation
● Support growth of ambassador and partner engagement through shout-outs and
cross-posting
Qualifications
● 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or community
engagement
● Proficiency with design and editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, etc.)
● Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills
● Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a content calendar
● Deep interest in African innovation, entrepreneurship, or development
● A creative doer who enjoys building community online and offline
● Experience managing a brand or social media account for a startup, nonprofit, or
campaign
● Familiarity with African youth communities, innovation hubs, or the tech ecosystem

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
