About the Role

Are you passionate about helping others succeed? We’re seeking a friendly, proactive Community Growth & Outreach Representative to help us grow A Cup of Opportunity — our mentorship and career support community for job seekers and early professionals. You’ll be on the frontline spreading the word, engaging potential mentees and mentors, and building awareness of this impactful program.


What You’ll Do

  • Identify and reach out to potential mentees (job seekers, recent grads, NYSC members, etc.)
  • Source volunteer mentors from relevant fields
  • Share and personalize outreach materials across LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, Twitter, and more
  • Follow up with interested candidates and guide them on joining the community
  • Track outreach results — interest, sign-ups, engagement
  • Collaborate with the content team to craft messages that resonate
  • Represent the spirit and values of A Cup of Opportunity in every interaction


Who You Are

  • Passionate about helping others grow and succeed
  • Enjoy connecting with new people and sharing opportunities
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or other career spaces
  • Clear, warm, and persuasive communicator
  • Eager to gain experience in community engagement, outreach, or nonprofit growth

Commitment
