We are looking for a skilled and creative Coffee Shop Chef at expession cafe to prepare a variety of light meals, pastries, and baked goods, including sandwiches, meat pies, cakes, cookies and other treats. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook light meals such as sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast items.
- Bake pastries, including meat pies, cakes, muffins, croissants, and cookies, following standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and manage costs.

- Proven experience as a chef, baker, or cook in a café, bakery, or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
- Ability to prepare sandwiches and light meals efficiently.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Time management skills to handle multiple orders at once.
- Creativity in recipe development and food presentation.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
