We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-friendly Cashier to handle transactions, manage records, and support the smooth financial operation of the business.
Job Description:
As a Cashier at Rapid Barbeque Grill, you will be responsible for processing customer payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining financial records and providing excellent customer service. You will also support the team by keeping accurate sales reports and assisting in basic administrative tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash, card and transfer payments accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and reports.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Work closely with the Manager to ensure transparency in all transactions.
- Report any cash discrepancies or suspicious transactions immediately.
Qualifications:
- OND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Business Administration or any relevant field.
- Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant, retail or similar business (required).
- Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is an added advantage.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Sunday(One day off), 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
