- We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and manage all aspects of business growth at Placid Health.
- The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Business Administration, Marketing, SEO and Digital Marketing, with a passion for health innovation and a strong ability to identify and pursue new opportunities, MBA is also preferred
- This role involves strategic planning, partnership building (especially B2B, HMO, and NGO sectors), team coordination, and marketing leadership to drive lead generation, brand visibility, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development & Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage strategic business plans to scale Placid Health’s digital and offline presence.
- Identify, pitch, and secure new partnership opportunities with HMOs, corporate organizations, and NGOs.
- Oversee the growth and performance of new and existing service offerings, including digital therapy and medication management.
Marketing & Outreach:
- Lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, SEO, Email marketing, LinkedIn).
- Analyze digital performance data and adjust strategies for maximum ROI and lead conversion.
- Coordinate brand awareness campaigns across social platforms tailored to various audience segments (Gen Z, Millennials, Adults, etc.).
Client & Partner Relationship Management:
- Develop tailored pitches and engagement plans for targeted B2B clients.
- Maintain strong, long-term client and partner relationships through follow-ups, meetings, and customized services.
- Represent Placid Health at events, corporate wellness programs, and business forums.
Team Collaboration & Oversight:
- Work with the internal marketing, social media, clinical, and operations teams to align business goals with service delivery.
- Supervise junior outreach staff or interns and provide mentorship and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with external consultants (e.g., Design agencies) and extract learning to strengthen the internal team.
- All other duties as assigned.
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on business performance.
- Develop business proposals, pricing models, and financial projections to support growth decisions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's Degree Required (MBA is preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or marketing, preferably in the health tech or service industry.
- Proven experience in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, Mailchimp, SEO tools).
- Strong B2B networking and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
- Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- SEM/SEO knowledge required.
- Must live in Lagos or be willing to move to Lagos
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with HMOs, corporate clients, or healthcare stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM software and digital analytics tools.
- Passion for mental health and wellness innovation.
Remuneration
- N400,000 – N650,000 / Month.
- Performance-based bonuses and partnership incentives apply.
