Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Biology, Basic Science, and Technology to upper primary and secondary students.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding and interest in science and technology.
- Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and hands-on learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development and school goals.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or projects, to promote STEM engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven teaching experience in Biology, Basic Science, or Technology in a reputable school.
- Location: Must reside within the Meiran, Command, or Abule Egba axis of Lagos State.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field (NCE or PGDE acceptable with strong experience).
- Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage students.
- Innovation: Enthusiasm for integrating modern teaching tools, experiments, and technology into lessons.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nigerian curriculum for Biology, Basic Science, and Technology subjects.
- Commitment: Passion for fostering scientific curiosity and contributing to the school’s growth.
