Job Description:
As an Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during surgical and medical procedures. You will ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after anesthesia, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Evaluate patients' medical history to determine appropriate anesthesia plans
- Ensure patient safety and provide pain management solutions when necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and anesthesia reports
- Collaborate with surgical and post-operative teams to deliver high-quality care
- Stay up to date with advancements in anesthesia practices and technologies
- Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, providing reassurance and explanations as needed
- Demonstrate critical thinking in emergency or complex clinical situations
- Uphold high standards of patient care, ethical conduct, and confidentiality
