Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and empathetic People Business Partner —a trusted advisor, culture builder, and performance enabler—dedicated to aligning people strategy with business objectives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders and team leads to design and implement people initiatives that foster engagement, drive productivity, and strengthen organizational culture. You will ensure that OneHealth’s people practices not only support compliance and efficiency, but also inspire growth, innovation, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to translate organizational goals into people strategies.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent deployment, and organizational design.
- Act as a sounding board for managers, supporting decision-making on people-related matters.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Champion initiatives that build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Facilitate feedback loops through surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one discussions.
- Drive programs that reinforce OneHealth’s C-A-R-I-N-G values.
Performance & Development
- Support performance management cycles, including reviews, coaching, and PIPs.
- Identify training needs and partner with L&D to design impactful programs.
- Equip managers with tools to drive feedback, recognition, and career development.
Change Management
- Support leaders through organizational changes, ensuring clear communication and employee buy-in.
- Anticipate challenges and proactively provide HR interventions that minimize disruption.
Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently and fairly.
- Manage employee relations cases with discretion and objectivity. Advise managers on labor law compliance and employee well-being.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (CIPM, SHRM) preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR/People Partner experience, ideally in a fast-scaling environment.
- Strong ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative approach.
- High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using data to drive people decisions.
Key Success Metrics
- Manager satisfaction with People Partner support.
- Improved employee engagement scores and reduced turnover.
- Timely resolution of employee relations cases.
- Completion rates of performance reviews and development plans. Alignment of people initiatives with business objectives.
Compensation
- Net Salary: ₦ 450,000 - 550,000/Month Benefits: Health insurance, pension, statutory benefits, and other perks.
