Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Ketu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Major Responsibilties
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and produce detailed reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
- Support the finance team in budget preparation & financial forecasting.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- BSc/ HND degree in Accounting
- Skills Level ICAN qualification or Accounting Technicians Certificate (ATS) is a key requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Experience with Accounting softwares like Quickbooks, Peachtree and SAGE.
- Proficiency in preparing financial records, including extracting Trial Balance, Income Statements, and Balance Sheets.
- Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good Organizational & Time management skill
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Salary
N200,000 - 250,000 Monthly.
