Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welding Engineer based in Lagos. The Welding Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing welding processes, including laser welding and arc welding. Daily tasks will include performing welding inspections, ensuring quality control, and applying knowledge of metallurgy to optimize welding procedures. The role involves collaboration with the production team to ensure welding standards meet the project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laser Welding and Arc Welding techniques
- Experience in Welding Inspection and Quality Control
- Knowledge of Metallurgy as it applies to welding processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Relevant certifications in welding practices and standards are a plus
