Company Description
A growing UK-based AI and software development company is looking for a Remote Technical Assistant to support ongoing internal projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining no-code websites (primarily on Framer), assisting with simple Python tasks, and supporting the creation and testing of AI-based tools.
This is a flexible, low-meeting role suited for someone who is technically competent, able to work independently, and open to learning. You’ll be part of a lean, remote-first team building useful and creative tools while maintaining clear structure and communication.
Role Description
This is a contract and remote role for a Web & AI Tech Assistant. The Web & AI Tech Assistant will provide technical support to clients, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and perform analytical tasks to identify and resolve web-related and AI technology issues. Other day-to-day tasks include delivering high-quality customer service, collaborating with team members, and effectively communicating technical solutions to non-technical users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web development
- At least 1 year of experience in software development
- Proven experience integrating AI and software products into websites
- Strong skills in technical support and providing technical assistance
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, especially in remote work environments Familiarity with modern web technologies and AI systems is a strong advantage
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and edit Framer-based websites and landing pages
- Write, test, and clean up Python scripts for internal tools and prototypes
- Help structure and run simple AI tasks (e.g., calling APIs, processing outputs, saving results)
- Assist with documentation of code and tools in plain language
- Set up basic integrations between services and tools (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI) Report updates weekly and follow task flows using Notion, Trello, or GitHub
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and ability to write clean, reusable code
- Comfortable learning or using Framer or other no-code/low-code platforms
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic frontend logic
- Strong communication skills, clear written English, and accountability
- Comfortable working asynchronously and reporting progress clearly Bonus: experience with Jupyter notebooks, simple dashboards, or model APIs
Contract Details:
- Remote, Nigeria-based only
- 160 hours/month, with a flexible structure (focus is on output, not clock-in hours)
- Compensation: ₦300,000–₦500,000/month, based on experience
- Paid monthly via Wise 3-month trial contract with performance-based extension and salary review
