Role Overview
The Web Editor Volunteer will be responsible for managing, updating, and improving Henosis International’s website content to ensure it is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with our mission. This role combines creativity, attention to detail, and technical skills to maintain a dynamic online presence for our programs, events, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly update website content (text, images, videos, event announcements)
- Ensure accuracy, readability, and alignment with Henosis’ branding and mission
- Format and publish blog posts, program updates, and resources
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and program leads to source updates
- Optimize content for clarity, engagement, and basic SEO
- Check for broken links, outdated information, and technical issues Suggest improvements to site navigation, layout, and user experience.

- Have experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace)
- Possess excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Have an eye for design, consistency, and detail
- Can work independently while collaborating effectively with a virtual team
- Are passionate about youth empowerment, faith-based initiatives, and community impact Bonus: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or SEO
