We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Website Designer & Developer with proven experience in WordPress, Shopify, and SEO optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a solid understanding of user experience (UX), and technical expertise to develop, customize, and optimize websites for performance, functionality, and search visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Customize themes, plugins, and apps to meet client needs.
- Implement best practices in UI/UX design for seamless user navigation.
- Optimize websites for SEO performance, including on-page, technical, and site speed optimization.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatible, and secure.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement SEO strategies and improve organic search rankings.
- Troubleshoot website issues, perform updates, and provide ongoing support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, CMS updates, and SEO algorithms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and developing websites on WordPress and Shopify.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Yoast, etc.).
- Familiarity with eCommerce integrations, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and website security.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
