Sheroes Rising Development Initiative is an omnibus social enterprise designed to advocate women and gender issues using the power of storytelling. We have impacted over 20,000 people both online and offline by advocating for solutions on matters pertaining equality, inclusion, rights, agency, GBV, economic empowerment, financial, leadership and political inclusion.

Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role located in Abuja. As a Voluntary Writer for Gender Reporting, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles, reports, and other content related to gender issues. You will also contribute to content development strategies, proofreading, editing, creative writing, and reporting on gender-related topics. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team to promote awareness and advocacy for gender issues.

Qualifications

• Content/Research and Writing skills
• Experience in developing content strategies and reporting on gender issues
• Proofreading and Editing skills
• Creative Writing and Gender Reporting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Experience in the social enterprise sector is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
