Job Description/Requirements
- Oversee transportation operations in the northern region, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Support procurement of transporters with a focus on long-distance and high-risk routes in the northern region.
- Analyze transport data (freight rates, transporter capacity, and route risks) to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Maintain relationships with transport providers, negotiating favorable terms while ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Monitor freight cost trends and provide insights on cost drivers in high-risk and long-distance routes.
- Work closely with dispatchers, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal allocation of transport resources.
- Provide operational and analytical support to the transportation team, including performance reports and dashboards.
