Project Context
As part of a strategic migration initiative, a legacy Teradata-based marketing datamart is being decommissioned and replaced with a new platform in a Microsoft Azure Synapse environment.
Assignment Objectives
Responsibilities
As a Senior UAT Tester , you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and performance of the new datamart platform through a structured UAT process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and designing test runs based on migration objectives
• Organising end-to-end UAT activities: test plans, test cases, scripts, and test system setups
• Developing and executing test scenarios to validate database impacts and software usability
• Identifying and reporting issues through a formal defect management process
Collaborating with technical and functional teams to ensure a smooth UAT cycle

Key Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills

• Expert knowledge of SAS and SQL (minimum 5 years)
• Experience with data warehousing, datamarts, and database testing
• Strong understanding of UAT best practices, methodologies, and documentation standards
Ability to develop detailed test plans, cases, scripts, and final reports

• Clear and structured communication (written & verbal)

Ability to work independently and take ownership within a structured team
