We are a specialist waterproofing design and installation firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, providing high-performance solutions for residential and commercial buildings. Our services include waterproofing, damp proofing, and concrete repair. As we expand our operations, we are looking to strengthen our technical team with a seasoned civil engineering professional.
Role Overview
The Technical Manager will lead technical operations, managing project specifications, cost estimations, tender documentation, and on-site delivery. This is a hands-on role that combines engineering design expertise with practical project management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Technical Management
- Prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, and tender submissions.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring alignment with design, budget, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with sales, design, and operations teams to support successful project delivery.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and consultants.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and partners.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on emerging materials, techniques, and standards within the waterproofing and construction industries.
- Support training and upskilling of junior technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (minimum 2:1 classification).
- 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction project management.
- Familiarity with waterproofing systems and site application methods is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and preparing estimation documents.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
