Position: Tech Instructor/Facilitator (Web Programming & Mobile App Development)
Location: Akobo, Ibadan
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tech Instructor/Facilitator with expertise in Web Programming and Mobile App Development to join our client's team. The role involves teaching, mentoring, and guiding students through both theoretical and practical aspects of software development, ensuring they acquire industry-relevant skills and are well-prepared for real-world projects and global opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons in Web Programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, etc.) and Mobile App Development (Flutter, React Native, Java/Kotlin, Swift, etc.).
- Develop training materials, projects, and real-world case studies to aid effective learning.
- Facilitate hands-on coding sessions, workshops, and hackathons.
- Mentor and guide students individually and in groups, ensuring their progress and success.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and project assessments.
- Prepare learners for employment opportunities, freelancing, and international collaborations.
- Collaborate with other instructors and the academic team to enhance curriculum content.
- Provide career guidance to students on tech pathways, certifications, and job readiness.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven teaching or facilitation experience in tech training or bootcamps is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python/Django, Node.js, etc.).
- Proficiency in mobile development frameworks (Flutter, React Native, Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners at different levels.
- Strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing tech talent.
- Industry certifications (Google, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) will be an added advantage.
