About the Role:
We are launching a new fashion outfit and seeking a Tailoring Workshop Coordinator to lead the setup and establishment of our tailoring and production operations. This role is ideal for someone with solid tailoring experience who understands the fashion production process, can take initiative, and is eager to grow into a leadership position as the business expands. One of the most important qualities we are looking for is proactiveness – someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do but takes ownership in moving things forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full setup of the tailoring workshop, including equipment, tools, and processes.
- Source and manage materials and resources required for production.
- Establish operational workflows and ensure tailoring standards are met.
- Oversee logistics and coordinate day-to-day production activities.
- Proactively identify gaps, make decisions, and implement solutions to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor or in fashion production/operations.
- Highly proactive with strong initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Good knowledge of the Lagos fashion/tailoring environment.
- Ability to work independently and drive results.
