Systems Design for Scale and Sustainability:
- Design and institutionalise systems that enable the company to scale operations across multiple states while maintaining quality and mission alignment.
- Develop blueprints and playbooks for replicable models of state project implementation, including onboarding, reporting, and compliance processes. Anticipate long-term infrastructure needs and build flexible systems that grow with the organisation.
Process Optimisation and Internal Integration:
- Analyse internal workflows and eliminate inefficiencies or redundancies across departments and strategic pillars.
- Introduce systems that harmonise data, communication, and task execution across school transformation, thought leadership, and capacity-building units. Ensure alignment of operational processes with the company's Theory of Change and strategic deployment matrix.
Digital Infrastructure and Technology Innovation:
- Identify and deploy fit-for-purpose digital tools for automation, project management, collaboration, and M&E integration.

Cross-Functional Coordination and Operational Resilience:
- Create coordination mechanisms that foster collaboration across units and improve field-to-HQ data and communication flows.
- Standardise internal reporting systems and feedback loops to support adaptive management. Develop contingency plans and operational safeguards to ensure continuity amid political or environmental instability.
Capacity Building and System Embedding:
- Train and support staff to adopt and maximise the use of internal systems and tools.
- Lead a systems adoption strategy that includes onboarding protocols, user guides, and continuous feedback. Embed sustainability principles (e.g., cost-efficiency, local adaptability, compliance) into all systems development work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 5+ years in systems development, operations design, or digital transformation, preferably in public sector reform or education development.
- Demonstrated experience building systems that have scaled across regions or institutions.
- Strong familiarity with project lifecycle management, change management, and public sector operations.
