About Oya Abeo

Oya Abeo is a Lagos-based fashion and textile studio blending West African storytelling with coastal ease. We create sustainable, hand-dyed garments that celebrate culture, craft, and community. Our production is based in Nigeria, and every piece is made in partnership with local artisans.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Batik Production Coordination

• Communicate with multiple independent batik dyers
• Organize weekly fabric orders based on production goals
• Track pick-up timelines, review for quality (color, stain, quantity)
Log all dyer assignments, deadlines, and delivery statuses

2. Fabric & Studio Materials Sourcing

• Source fabrics and trims in Lagos markets
• Work closely with the Founder & Assistant to manage studio supply lists
Ensure fabric is the right type, texture, color match, and quantity

3. Garment Production Oversight

• Work with the studio manager to assign tailors
• Track production progress
Conduct spot checks on quality

4. Packaging & Fulfillment

• Organize and pack orders for customers and influencers
• Maintain inventory and fulfillment records using Excel and ClickUp
Work with logistics for timely delivery and tracking

5. Weekly Reporting

• Update ClickUp with production statuses
Submit a weekly summary of what was produced, what’s delayed, and what’s needed
