We seek an experienced Student Engagement Officer who will play a crucial role in ensuring that all students receive the best possible customer experience with our partner institutions and to transform the student experience across all stages of the student journey. The aim is to deliver high levels of engagement for current and prospective students and to ensure overall happiness on the student journey.


As a Student Engagement Officer you will be working in conjunction with the Sales, Marketing and operations team and will provide our students with support and guidance via email and telephone on a range of areas that complement their academic journey, with a focus on ensuring the student voice is heard throughout the organization.


Mon - Fri (8AM -4PM) OR (9AM -5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing, Events & Student Engagement
    • Produce and manage a variety of enrichment activities that are engaging and impactful, ensuring they contribute positively to an outstanding student journey.
    • Support the promotion and delivery of effective engagement and recruitment programs to diverse audiences, ensuring collaboration, engagement, and buy-in across all levels.
    • Act as a liaison internally and externally to support the execution of student engagement initiatives.
    • Make
      introductory phone calls
      to prospective students, providing them with initial guidance on study options, application procedures, and next steps.
    • Follow up with students who have shown interest but have not yet completed their applications, ensuring they have the necessary support.
    • Invite students to Study Now events, including
      education fairs, webinars, and school visits, ensuring high attendance.
    • Make
      reminder calls
      to confirm attendance and answer any event-related questions.
  • CRM & Cross-Departmental Support
    • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Monday.com) to monitor and support the activities of the Education Counsellors and Visa Compliance department.
    • Generate daily and weekly reports, extracting necessary data from the sales, admissions, and visa compliance departments for submission to the Country Manager.
    • Maintain accurate records of student engagement activities and use the data to evaluate program effectiveness.
    • Track and manage student leads requiring support, including those contacted, attempted to contact, and awaiting document submission.
  • Student Retention, Visa Monitoring & Enrolment
    • Work on student retention by monitoring visa stages and enrolment procedures.
    • Ensure international students comply with visa regulations and assist them with the necessary documentation and processes.
    • Stay informed on changes in immigration policies and provide updated guidance to students.
  • School & College Relationship Management
    • Create, enhance, and maintain strategic relationships with targeted schools and colleges, both locally and nationally.
    • Support school outreach initiatives and represent the organization during relevant external engagements.
  • Sales & Performance Support
    • Support teams in achieving their sales targets by ensuring access to accurate data, timely reporting, and relevant resources.
    • Collaborate across departments to improve workflows and address any process bottlenecks.
  • Outreach & Public Speaking
    • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to deliver engaging presentations to various audiences, including prospective students, parents/carers, teachers, and current students.
    • Use online channels, social media, and in-person events to increase student applications, improve conversion rates, and enhance retention.
  • Student Communication & Support Services
    • Provide clear information to students about academic policies, support services, and campus resources.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with students across multiple channels to keep them informed and supported.
    • Assist students in completing applications, guide them on documentation, and respond to inquiries related to the admissions process.
  • Follow-Up & Partner Coordination
    • Maintain consistent communication with partner universities to track application progress and ensure a seamless admissions process.
  • Referral & Incentive Program Oversight
    • Manage referral bonus programs for both agents and students, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely disbursement of rewards.
  • Financial Verification & Compliance
  • Handle the verification of financial documents to confirm proof of funds and ensure compliance with institutional admission requirements.

11. Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect and analyze student feedback to assess the quality of engagement and service delivery.
  • Conduct surveys and assessments to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

12. Industry Awareness & Professional Development

  • Stay current on trends and best practices in student engagement and international education.
  • Actively engage in professional development to enhance skills relevant to the role.

Ad-hoc Responsibilities

    • Participate in internal operations and provide support to the organization as needed.


Additional Key Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of the education systems and study opportunities in US, UK, Canada, or Europe, including admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarship options.

  • Familiarity with relevant educational institutions, courses, and programs in the target study destinations.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating successful outcomes in the field of overseas study consulting.

  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for customer relationship management and data tracking.

  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in overseas study consulting.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and applications.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of changes in the industry.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate client needs and participate in promotional events.

  • Adherence to ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines in the field of overseas study consulting.

  • Ability to act as an advocate, mediator and negotiator for our parents and carers in a range of situations.


Person Specification


  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Student Affairs, or a related discipline.

  • Familiarity with student programming, outreach, and event planning.

  • Ability to engage effectively with students, faculty leads, and staff.

  • Experience in producing engaging content for various communication channels.

  • Knowledge of accounting, data, administrative management practices and procedures clerical practices and procedures.

  • Significant experience in a senior management role, preferably with a background in business development and operations.

  • Experience in developing internal systems.
