? About OMBDD – The Division Powering Our Mission
The Online Media, Marketing & Business Development Division (OMBDD) is the digital engine room behind NESA-Africa 2025. From influencer partnerships to grassroots chapter campaigns, OMBDD integrates storytelling, community engagement, and sponsorship outreach into one dynamic division.
? OMBDD 2025 Targets:
- 4.125 million engagements (digital + offline)
- $3 million in projected revenue
- 500,000 webinar attendees
- 150 nominee spotlight videos
- 30 influencers mobilized through local chapters and social media representatives from each African region
- 5,000 memberships and subscriptions
- 17 active chapters (online and hybrid)
? Structure & Reporting
OMBDD is now streamlined into three key leadership positions , all of whom report directly to the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) :
- Head of Digital Engagement & Strategic Communications (Division Lead)
- Unit Lead, Digital Content & NESA TV Broadcasts
- Unit Lead, Sponsorship & Chapter Development
Each leader is expected to drive outcomes aligned with SCEF’s Mission 2035.
? CURRENT VACANCIES1️⃣ Head of Digital Engagement & Strategic Communications? Division Lead – OMBDD
Role Summary:
This is the senior-most role in the division. You will provide strategic leadership to all digital, sponsorship, content, and outreach activities tied to NESA-Africa 2025. You’ll unify all units to deliver on ambitious KPIs with excellence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate organizational goals into tactical digital execution plans
- Lead and support two Unit Heads, 5 interns, and 17 volunteers
- Track deliverables using Asana and ensure OKRs are met across all units
- Represent OMBDD in high-level strategy and partnership discussions
- Oversee all webinar, content, and chapter activation milestones
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- A demonstrated track record of success in nonprofit leadership, marketing, or communications
- Experience managing cross-functional and hybrid teams
- Ability to translate KPIs into actionable campaigns and digital growth plans
- Advanced use of tools: Asana, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite, StreamYard, HubSpot
- Strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills
- Proven ability to meet revenue, engagement, and team performance goals
2️⃣ Unit Lead – Digital Content & NESA TV Broadcasts? Media & Content Manager – OMBDD
Unit Oversight:
- Online Services: Social Media, Analytics, Webinars, Customer Support
- Media Services: Video Production, Podcasts, NESA TV Broadcasting
Unit Targets:
- 2.4M engagements via social media, email, and chatbot responses
- $500K in merchandise revenue
- 800K engagements from NESA TV, videos, and podcasts
- $200K in content licensing income
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise planning and deployment of 30+ content assets per month
- Manage content calendars and production for all digital platforms
- Deliver 150 nominee spotlight videos and media scripts for Expo week
- Coordinate webinar streaming and video distribution via NESA TV
- Ensure 80%+ user satisfaction via chatbot and helpdesk channels
- Maintain analytics dashboard for performance tracking
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of success in content marketing or digital production
- Strong command of tools like Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Canva, and Hootsuite
- Experience running webinars and live digital broadcasts
- Excellent visual storytelling, design, and digital media management skills
- Familiarity with multilingual content rollout is a plus (Swahili, French, Arabic)
3️⃣ Unit Lead – Sponsorship & Chapter Development? Partnerships & Mobilization Manager – OMBDD
Unit Oversight:
- Online Business Development & Marketing: Sponsorships, Influencer Campaigns
- Local Chapter Services: Chapter Onboarding, In-Person Engagement
Unit Targets:
- 800K digital engagements via sponsorship and influencer-led campaigns
- $1.75M in sponsorship and donor income
- 125K physical engagements via watch parties and hybrid events
- $150K in chapter-led revenue
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-level sponsorship outreach and brand partnerships for award categories and expos
- Manage a network of 270 influencers mobilized through local chapters and Africa-based social media influencers
- Execute email campaigns and donor pipelines via Mailchimp and HubSpot
- Train and support 77 chapters across Africa and the diaspora
- Coordinate chapter onboarding, community engagement, and watch party rollout
Required Skills & Experience:
- A track record of success in sponsorship, business development, or field mobilization
- Strong pitch development, fundraising, and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot), campaign tracking, and Google Workspace
- Experience managing regional or continental networks is highly desirable
