JOB SUMMARY
The Strategy Lead is responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing and brand strategies that align with client objectives and market trends. This role involves conducting research, generating creative ideas, and collaborating with internal teams to craft compelling campaigns that drive brand engagement and business growth. The ideal candidate should be highly creative, strategic, and have a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, digital trends, and brand storytelling.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute creative strategies that align with client goals and brand positioning.
- Conduct market research and consumer analysis to identify insights that inform campaign development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualise and implement engaging marketing campaigns.
- Generate innovative and compelling content ideas across multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and experiential marketing.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and production teams to bring creative concepts to life.
- Ensure that all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and messaging consistency.
- Develop and present creative proposals and strategy decks to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and innovation.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Support the execution of brand activations, events, and experiential marketing initiatives.
- Assist in storytelling, scripting, and ideation for video, digital, and social media content.
REQUIREMENTS
BSc/HND in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or any related field with at least a second-class upper division (2.1) from a reputable institution.
- 2-4 years of experience in Creative Strategy, Marketing, Advertising, or Brand Management.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills with a creative mindset.
- Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling creative strategies.
- Experience working on multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital and experiential activations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for pitching ideas to clients and internal teams.
- Strong research and analytical skills to interpret data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
