What You’ll Build

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our core features, including:

• AI Resume Builder : Build a smart, modular resume generator that tailors content to job descriptions.
• Job Auto-Apply System : Develop logic and frontend interfaces for employee users to apply for jobs automatically based on their preferences and qualifications.
• Email Integration : Enable email syncing and classification for application updates (e.g., offers, rejections, interview invites).
• Tracking Dashboard : Create intuitive dashboards for candidates and admins to monitor application status, daily progress, and resume performance.
• Elevation Labs Onboarding Integration : Integrate 3rd-party assessment and onboarding tools into the Appeasy flow.

Your Tech Playground

• Frontend : React, Next.js, TypeScript, Zustand/Redux (open to your preference)
• Backend : Python (FastAPI preferred), Supabase, Node.js for microservices
• Database : PostgreSQL (via Supabase)
• AI/LLM : OpenAI APIs, embeddings, classification models, resume matching algorithms
• Integrations : Gmail API, Elevation Labs, Deepgram/Whisper (voice), Zapier (for future workflow automation)

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain React + Next.js interfaces that power both job seekers and admins
• Implement backend logic using Python and Supabase for real-time data syncing and workflow automation
• Design and maintain database schema for job tracking, applications, and resume scoring
• Integrate email parsing tools to extract and classify job response statuses
• Work closely with product and design to iterate quickly and launch user-first features

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of full-stack development experience (startup or fast-paced environment preferred)
• Solid experience with React, TypeScript, and either Zustand or Redux
• Comfortable building APIs in Python or Node.js, and working with Supabase/PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with AI tools like OpenAI, embeddings, or vector databases is a strong plus
• Experience integrating external APIs (email, onboarding platforms, etc.)
• Strong product sense: you care about what you're building, not just how

Nice to Have

• Previous work on job boards, resume platforms, or HR tech
• Experience working with AI resume parsing, job matching, or onboarding assessments
• Familiarity with Zapier-style automation tools
