Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the school’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, etc.) with relevant and engaging content.
- Monitor online engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
- Maintain and regularly update the school’s website with news, announcements, academic schedules, and student-related information.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to publish accurate and timely content.
- Design graphics, promotional materials, and visual content for digital platforms.
- Monitor analytics and generate reports on social media and website performance.
- Promote school events, achievements, and campaigns online.
- Ensure the school’s digital presence aligns with its brand and values. Stay up to date with digital trends and recommend improvements to online communication strategies.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND/OND in Mass Communication, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts and web content (portfolio preferred).
- Proficiency in social media platforms, CMS (e.g., WordPress), and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Good understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is an added advantage.
