Job Description/Requirements
Job Overview
At Spade , we’re not just a sports betting company — we’re a lifestyle brand at the heart of sports, culture, and digital entertainment. We’re on a mission to redefine how fans engage with the games they love, and we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to bring our voice to life online.
In this role, you’ll own our social media presence across all platforms — from crafting content that sparks conversations to launching real-time campaigns that drive engagement and growth. You’ll be part strategist, part content creator, and full-time culture shaper.
If you live and breathe sports, know how to turn trends into brand moments, and understand what makes communities tick, then Spade wants you on the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Scheduling
- Plan, create, and schedule compelling content (posts, stories, reels, threads, etc.) for platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Work closely with designers, video editors, and copywriters to maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice.
- Community Management
- Build and nurture a vibrant online community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions with speed and personality.
- Monitor and manage social sentiment, acting as the brand’s frontline voice.
- Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute social media campaigns around product launches, sports events, influencer collaborations, promos, and cultural moments.
- Leverage real-time events (e.g., live matches, player transfers, viral trends) to create reactive content.
- Growth & Engagement
- Grow follower base, engagement rates, and traffic through strategic initiatives like giveaways, live sessions, polls, and brand partnerships.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and provide weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Use data to refine strategies and inform future content planning.
- Trendspotting & Innovation Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and audience behavior — and apply them creatively to betting, sports, and culture.
-
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years experience in social media management (experience in sports, betting, entertainment, or youth culture is a major plus).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills — witty, engaging, and brand-savvy.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools) are a bonus.
- A deep love for sports (especially football) and a pulse on online trends and culture.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and content calendars simultaneously. Highly organized, fast-paced, and thrives under pressure — especially during live games or trending moments.
-
What You’ll Get
- A chance to shape the voice of a bold, exciting brand in sports betting.
- A creative and collaborative team that supports your growth. Competitive salary, performance bonuses, and flexible work options.
