Position Overview:
The Treasury Officer plays a critical role in driving the company’s deposit mobilization efforts. The position focuses on developing and maintaining strategic relationships with fixed deposit clients, particularly high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), to ensure consistent and adequate inflow of liabilities that support the company’s financial operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source competitively priced and well-structured deposit liabilities from retail and institutional sources.
- Continuously identify, engage, and onboard new clients.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients through proactive communication and support.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, feedback, and requests.
- Leverage field experience to inform and enhance marketing strategies.
- Conduct regular client visits to nurture and maintain deposit relationships.
- Promote treasury services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and manage a nationwide sales team focused on deposit mobilization.
- Drive the adoption of treasury products among new and existing clients.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and portfolio management.
- Conduct periodic competitor and market analysis to inform product pricing and positioning.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to management on performance and activities.
- Supervise and guide subordinates to ensure a steady flow of leads and a high conversion rate.
- Train Internal Marketing Teams (IMTs) and Treasury Admin staff on products and company policies.

- Number of new leads and business opportunities generated
- Client acquisition and retention rates
- Volume of deposits mobilized
- Level of client engagement and satisfaction
- Rates of upselling and cross-selling
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution; a postgraduate degree or professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in building and developing a client base from scratch.
- Strong rapport-building skills and the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
