Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior Associate, based in Lagos. The Senior Associate will handle a variety of legal responsibilities including providing legal advice, representing clients in court, drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and working on case strategy. This role requires collaboration with colleagues and clients across different legal matters and ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications
1. Extensive experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, and real Estate and Property
2. Strong background in Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and Arbitration
3. Knowledgeable in Labor & Employment and Energy and Natural Resources
4. Excellent legal research, drafting, and document review skills
5. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and client management skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
A degree in Law (LL.B) and admission to the Nigerian Bar Association with at least 10 years post call experience.
Experience in governance, regulatory risk, and compliance is a plus.
