Your Role in Our Success
You’ll architect and manage the financial operations backbone of DALA, building systems that ensure accuracy, accountability, and scalability as we grow. This role combines hands-on accounting execution with financial systems design, ensuring that our operations can scale while maintaining integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Architecture: Build accounting and reporting systems that scale with business growth.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with actionable insights for leadership.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure tax, regulatory, and statutory compliance while implementing strong internal controls.
- Cashflow Management: Oversee receivables, payables, and reconciliations to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial operations and design scalable solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Sales, and Data teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and performance analysis.
- Team Development: Mentor junior finance staff and foster a culture of accountability.

Requirements
- 4+ years experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

- Base Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000
