Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative – Agricultural Products to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and farming equipment to farmers, cooperatives, and agro-dealers
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell agricultural products to new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products based on soil type, crop, and farming practices.
- Build strong relationships with farmers, distributors, cooperatives, and agro-dealers.
- Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and technical support to educate customers on product usage.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer engagement, and market conditions.
- Work closely with agronomists, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and community farming events to promote brand visibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in agricultural sales or a strong background in farming practices.
- Solid understanding of crop production, agrochemicals, and related products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license (if travel is required).
Working Conditions:
- Regular travel to rural areas and farming communities.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions during field visits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦60,000.00 - ₦80,000.00 per month
