As we grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experinced Retail Finance Officer to handle all the financial aspects for the business, ensuring finacial stability and driving profitability.
Job Summary:
Our Retail Finance officer will be based at our Ajah Lekki Branch, will handle budgeting, forecasting, and finiancial reporting, while also overseeing inventory, purchasing, and pricing strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and retail operations. We also require an Advanced Level on the Quick Books Accouting Software. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE, MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SITE/OFFICE IN AJAH LEKKI AT LEAST 5 DAYS A WEEK
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing and managing budgets, forecasting sales and expenses, and analyzing financial performance.
Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels, ordering, and purchasing to optimize stock and minimize costs.
Pricing Strategies: Developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability while staying competitive.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and other financial data for management.
Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with finance partners, banks, and other stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Training and Development: Developing and delivering training programs for staff on financial processes and procedures.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications: A least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and/or relevant professional certifications
- Software Experience: An advanced level on Quick Books Accounting and Excel is a MUST HAVE
- Strong Financial Acumen: Proven ability to understand and interpret financial data.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in Retail: Experience in retail operations and financial management.
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
- Work from the office 24 days a month
- Should be willing to work with the company long term
- Must reside around Ajah

Pay: ₦400,000.00 per month
