Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and technically inclined Entry-Level Solar Repair Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will assist in diagnosing and repairing faults in solar power systems, including panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical components. This is a hands-on role ideal for recent technical graduates or individuals looking to build a career in solar system maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing issues with solar power systems, including electrical faults and underperformance.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as inverters, charge controllers, batteries, or wiring.
• Support the senior technicians in responding to service calls and repair requests.
• Troubleshoot stabilizers and assist with basic electrical repairs.
• Carry out minor technical assignments as directed by the Head of Department (HOD).
• Maintain accurate service reports, repair logs, and feedback from customers.
Follow all safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• HND, BSC, or technical training in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of solar components and electrical safety.
• Previous internship or experience in electrical or solar work is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn, with a proactive and hands-on attitude.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Good physical condition and attention to detail.
Ability to follow technical instructions and work well in a team.
