Role Summary: Business Overview
The Relationship Manager at Coronation Securities Limited is responsible for developing and maintaining
strong client relationships across HNIs, Institutional clients, corporates, and retail investors. This role
plays a key part in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling a broad range of financial products,
including equities and fixed income instruments. The Relationship Manager will work closely with sales,
research, trading, compliance, and product teams to deliver tailored investment solutions and best-in
class service to clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new clients across HNI, institutional, corporate, and retail segments.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients, including KYC documentation, account setup, and
digital platform orientation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline onboarding and ensure a smooth client experience.
- Promote and sell a suite of financial products including equities, bonds, fixed income instruments,
and other market-aligned offerings.
- Provide tailored investment advice based on client risk profiles, goals, and market conditions.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce clients to other offerings such as asset
management, insurance, and wealth planning.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain and deepen client relationships through regular communication, performance reviews,
and understanding of evolving needs.
- Provide timely and proactive advice to help clients make informed investment decisions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and offering ongoing
support.
- Disseminate relevant market research, insights, and trade ideas in collaboration with the
research and trading teams.
- Stay abreast of market trends, product developments, and economic news to better advise
clients.
- Contribute to the creation of client-facing presentations, proposals, and investment reports.
- Monitor client activity to ensure alignment with mandates and regulatory frameworks.
- Liaise with internal teams—compliance, legal, operations, and trading—to ensure timely execution
and issue resolution.
- Adhere strictly to internal controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, NGX, CIS).
- Drive client engagement via digital channels, assisting with online platform usage and digital
communication tools.
- Provide support for platform-related queries and encourage digital adoption among clients.
- Participate in sales planning meetings ; report on pipeline progress, market feedback, and client
activities.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns , attending roadshows , investor forums,
and client education seminars as needed.

Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a
related field
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or relationship management experience within a
financial services or stockbrokerage environment
- Proven expertise in selling equities, bonds, and other investment instruments
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian capital market and stock brokerage
operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client portfolios, especially among
HNIs and institutional investors
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (SEC, NGX, CIS)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and client-focused
- Strong organizational and time management skills
